และ หน้าเรียว ได้จริงหรือไม่ หลักการจัดฟันนั้น ก่อนที่จะเสร็จการจัดฟัน ทำให้กะได้ยากว่า ความสูง ความนูน ความมนหรือความแบนของจมูกจะเป็นอย่างไร เราต้องการขนาดไหน เนื่องจากริมฝีปากจะเปลี่ยนตำแหน่ง เพราะทุกส่วนของใบหน้าและฟันมีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องกันหมด ไม่ว่าจะใช้ฟิลเลอร์ การสลายไขมันที่แก้ม หรือการเพิ่มโวลุ่มให้แก้มเช่น คนไข้ที่มีแก้มแบนเกินไป จะต้องผ่าตัดเลื่อนขากรรไกรออกมาเพื่อหนุนแก้มขึ้นมา ก็จะทำให้ตำแหน่งฟันเปลี่ยนไปด้วย ซึ่งอาจทำให้การสบฟันไม่ดี มีปัญหากับการเคี้ยวอาหาร ฉะนั้น คนไข้ที่ผ่าตัดเลื่อนโครงของขากรรไกรบนและขากรรไกรล่าง ส่วนใหญ่จึงต้องจัดฟันร่วมด้วย เพื่อให้ตำแหน่งฟันสามารถสบกันได้ อีกทั้งการผ่าตัดที่มีผลทำให้ริมฝีปากตึงมากขึ้น จะมีผลทำให้ตำแหน่งฟันเปลี่ยนแปลงไปด้วย คือ ฟันอาจเกมากขึ้น เนื่องจากความตึงของริมฝีปากมีการกดลงในตำแหน่งฟัน นอกจากนี้การขยับโครงใบหน้า ขากรรไกร อาจมีผลทำให้ตำแหน่งของขากรรไกร ลิ้นและริมฝีปากขาดความสมดุล เช่น ทำให้ฟันมีการเลื่อนตัวมากกว่าปกติ ห่างออกหรือเกมากขึ้นการผ่าตัดเนื้อเยื่ออ่อนบนใบหน้ามีผลกับตำแหน่งฟัน คือถ้าฟันเกก็จะทำความสะอาดไม่ทั่วถึง มีหินปูนและจุลินทรีย์จับส่งผลให้ฟันผุ และสูญเสียฟันในระยะยาว การผ่าตัดโครงสร้างขากรรไกร จะมีผลทำให้ช่องปากและช่องจมูกกว้างขึ้นหรือเล็กลงได้ ซึ่งมีผลต่อทางเดินหายใจที่อาจกว้างขึ้น

เตรียมฟันสำหรับใส่เครื่องมือจัดฟัน

ในการเตรียมฟันเพื่อใส่เครื่องมือจัดฟันแบบติดแน่น ซึ่งจะเป็นการดันฟันหลังซึ่งปกติจะอยู่ชิดกันแน่นให้หลวมขึ้น เพื่อเป็นที่อยู่ของแหวนดัดฟันหรือเมื่อเริ่มใส่ยางแยกฟัน จะรู้สึกแน่น ๆ เหมือนมีเศษอาหารติด เวลากัดฟันอาจรู้สึกว่ากัดโดนยางเพราะส่วนหนึ่งของยางแยกฟันอยู่บนด้านสบฟัน ถ้ามีอาการปวดหรือแน่นมาก สามารถ ทานยาแก้ปวด ได้ และการเคี้ยวอาหาร ในช่วงแรก ๆ จะกระตุ้นการไหลเวียนของโลหิตที่ปลายรากฟัน ช่วยบรรเทาอาการแน่นหรือปวดได้ อาการปวดจะบรรเทาลง ใน 2-3 วันเท่านั้นและควรเลี่ยงอาหารเหนียวที่จะติดและดึงยางแยกฟันออก และเลี่ยงการใช้ไหมขัดฟันบริเวณนี้ชั่วคราวเพราะยางจะหลุดได้ หากยางแยกฟันหลุดเกินกว่า 3 วันก่อนวันนัดติดแบนด์ ควรติดต่อทันตแพทย์เพื่อใส่ยางให้ใหม่เครื่องมือขยายขากรรไกรบน การเลื่อนฟันบางตำแหน่งในการดัดฟัน ต้องอาศัยความร่วมมือของผู้ป่วยเป็นสิ่งสำคัญ โดยการใส่หนังยางดึงฟัน ตามที่ทันตแพทย์แนะนำอย่างเคร่งครัดตามที่หมอได้สั่งเอาไว้จะทำให้ฟันเลื่อนเข้าที่ได้รวดเร็ว ทันตแพทย์จะแนะนำวิธีใส่หนังยาง ทิศทางและตำแหน่งของหนังยาง รวมทั้งระยะเวลาในการใส่ เช่น ใส่ตลอดเวลา หรือ ใส่เฉพาะบางเวลา ผู้ป่วยควรเปลี่ยนหนังยางทุก 13 – 22 ชั่วโมงหลังใส่ เพราะยางจะล้า หมดแรงดึง ควรใส่หนังยางคืนทันทีหลังทานอาหารและหลังทำความสะอาดฟัน การใส่หนังยางไม่สม่ำเสมอ ฟันจะเลื่อนไปแล้วเลื่อนกลับนั้นเอง

เป็นการดัดฟันหรือการจัดฟันที่ได้รับความนิยมมากที่สุด มักเห็นกันได้ตามทั่วไป โดยใช้เครื่องมือที่ทำจากวัสดุโลหะที่มีคุณภาพ ใช้ติดด้านนอกของผิวฟันด้านหน้า และมีการเปลี่ยนยางทุกเดือนเนื่องจากหมดอายุการใช้งาน และด้วยเหตุนี้ จึงเป็นที่นิยมสำหรับผู้จัดฟันทั่วไป เนื่องจากยางนั้นสามารถเปลี่ยนสีได้  และปัจจุบันมีการพัฒนาเครื่องมือ ทำให้มีขนาดเล็กลงและมีความหลากหลายของสียางมากขึ้นอีกด้วย ทำให้เราสามารถพบเห็นการจัดฟันแบบนี้ได้ ในกลุ่มคนไข้ทั่วไปที่ต้องการสีสันของยาง และไม่มีปัญหาในการที่คนอื่นสามารถมองเห็นการจัดฟันของตนได้ ข้อดี เครื่องมือทำด้วยวัสดุที่เป็นโลหะ ผิวเรียบ มันวาว ทำให้คราบอาหารและจุลินทรีย์ติดได้ยากกว่า และการติดตั้งวัสดุด้านนอกของฟันทำให้การดูและและทำความสะอาดง่ายและสะดวกมากขึ้น และยังสามารถสนุกกับการเลือกสีสันต่างๆของยางได้อีกด้วย ส่วนเรื่องค่าใช้จ่ายของการจัดฟันแบบชนิดนี้ ราคาไม่สูงมากนัก ดังนั้นค่ารักษาจึงไม่แพง ทำให้เป็นที่นิยมของผู้ที่ต้องการจัดฟันทั่วไป ข้อควรระวัง ควรดูแลเครื่องมือตามคำแนะนำ และพบทันตแพทย์ตามกำหนด เพื่อผลสำเร็จของการรักษา ตามกำหนด และหากเกิดความผิดปกติของเครื่องมือภายในช่องปาก ให้พบหรือปรึกษาทันตแพทย์ เพื่อรักษาอาการผิดปกติเหล่านั้น

What Does "High Maintenance" Really Mean?

We hear this term "High Maintenance" quite frequently used as an adjective to describe Women. Men say, "She was/is high maintenance." What does it mean to you? Do you consider yourself HIGH Maintenance? Do you think being HIGH maintenance is wrong?

High Maintenance to me isn't a financial issue, exclusively or about a woman being demanding. Although being high maintenance requires the means by which a woman's needs, wants, desires and pleasures can be given to her. There should be perks for "staying the course." Many [women] have stayed the course and can enjoy the perks that come with working hard and smart. I do not particularly like when the phrase "high maintenance" is used for a person. I think it works perfectly well for certain vehicles, and other things such as hardwood floors, 100% linen and silk outfits, or even a long and thick head of hair. It works for things that require more attention than their alternatives, perhaps.

I am aware some women require more 'upkeep' than others but it's their choice and lifestyle. One woman may not care about makeup, manicures, pedicures, massages, highlights in her hair, fine jewelry, luxurious suites at their vacation destination, or being catered to and pampered. Another woman may seek out this treatment because it enables her to thrive and flourish. Would the latter type of woman be considered "High Maintenance?"

What I think is wrong is when a woman demands these things from someone when she isn't capable of providing them for herself. Or when she forces a man to go into debt just to maintain a facade, which isn't affordable for either of them. A man complying with such demands need to reassess his involvement with this type of woman and bid her farewell.

I am guilty of four of the twelve (#2, #5, #7 & #8); therefore, if Sharon is correct, I am High Maintenance! Pffft! I don't think so! I, admittedly, require more 'attention' than I used to. I am older. I deserve it. I have earned it. I also give as good or greater than I get. I never want to feel obligated to anyone or for anyone to feel taken advantage of by me. If I am over-indulgent with myself, you can count on me being over-indulgent with you. I maintain myself. I'm blessed and highly favoured! Because I'm blessed-- I must be a blessing.

Are you High Maintenance? The phrase is not restricted to describe only women. Men have been deemed and a few I know, as High Maintenance. I just think people have different requirements, likes and dislikes. I hope Michael and George aren't entirely correct!

How to Keep Your Retainers Clean After Your Braces Come Off

Getting retainers is often the happiest time for an orthodontic patient. After years of braces, your teeth will soon be "free!" But it isn't entirely carefree. You need to wear your retainers exactly as your orthodontist tells you or your teeth could shift back to the way they were before braces. And since retainers cost several hundred dollars to replace, you want to keep them clean, odor-free, and safe from breakage!

Why Do I Need to Wear Retainers?
After your braces come off, the periodontal ligaments that hold the teeth in place are still loose from the pressure of your braces. Generally it takes anywhere from 3 to 9 months for the periodontal ligaments to tighten up and "remember" the new positions of your straightened teeth. This is why it's so important that you wear your retainer exactly the way that your orthodontist recommends. You just spent years in braces -- this final step is very important for keeping your smile as beautiful as it was the day your braces came off!

Most orthodontists tell their patients to wear their retainers 24/7 for the first few months. Gradually you can switch to wearing the retainers only at night. And after a year or more, you might be able to "get away with" wearing them several nights per week. But if you want your teeth to stay in their new positions, you can't totally stop wearing your retainer. You will need to wear it at least several nights per week for the rest of your life to keep your teeth in their proper positions. Teeth are dynamic and respond to the pressures of daily living (the position of your tongue, the way you bite and chew, etc). Over time those pressures will move the teeth. Wearing your retainers helps to ensure that the teeth remain "retained" where they were on the day your braces came off.

How to Clean Retainers
One of the biggest challenges to wearing retainers (and even Invisalign-type aligner trays) is keeping the retainers and aligners clean. Bacteria build up on the retainers and aligners the same way that they build up on teeth. If you don't keep your aligners clean, very quickly you will notice that they smell bad and have an ugly layer of white gunky film. If you don't clean your retainers or aligners properly, the film will harden and become almost impossible to remove. This is true for all types of retainers (plastic and wire Hawley retainers, clear Essix retainers, aligner trays, snoring and bruxism devices, etc).

How can you keep your retainers clean and odor free? There are several ways.
Always rinse your retainers in warm water after taking them out of your mouth. Before putting your retainer into a retainer case, give it a quick rinse. This will wash away some of the surface bacteria. Do not use an anti-bacterial hand wipe on your retainer. The chemicals in antibacterial hand wipes may be toxic if they are put into your mouth! The easiest method for cleaning retainers is the good old-fashioned toothbrush. If you have a plastic and wire Hawley retainer, you can brush it with toothpaste on a soft toothbrush. However, this method is not recommended for Invisalign-type clear aligner trays or clear Essix retainers (which look like aligner trays). The toothpaste can scratch the clear plastic and over time, your retainers will not be "invisible" anymore. Some people recommend soaking retainers in a weak solution of hydrogen peroxide diluted with water, or even an alcohol-based mouthwash. This helps to kill germs, but doesn't address the white gunky build-up. In addition, these harsh chemicals can damage the surface of the plastic over time, turning it yellow. Some people use denture cleaning tablets to clean their retainers or aligners. This will seem to work at first, but over time the harsh chemicals in the denture tablets will turn your retainer yellow. This is because the denture tablets are strongly formulated to clean false teeth, not retainers.

This is the reason why the companies that make retainers have come out with special cleaning products. These products are formulated to kill germs and remove the white buildup without harming the plastic in the retainers. Two products work extremely well for this purpose: SonicBrite and Retainer Brite. Both products can be found on the DentaKit website.

SonicBrite makes a retainer cleaning kit which includes cleaning powder and a portable battery-operated sonic bath. It's easy to use: just place some warm water in the sonic bath, put in a small spoon of SonicBrite powder, and turn on the unit. The vibrations from the unit help to loosen debris from your retainer or aligner tray, and the powder kills more than 99% of the bacteria. After 15 minutes the unit shuts itself off. Simply remove your retainer, rinse in cool water, and you're good to go! If your retainer has not been properly cleaned in a long time and contains a lot of white build-up, two cycles in the SonicBrite kit usually remove all of the debris.

Another product that most dentists recommend is Retainer Brite. This product comes in tablets (similar to denture cleaning tablets) but is formulated gently, specifically for retainers. Unlike denture cleaning tablets, Reatiner Brite will not turn your retainers or aligners yellow. To use Retainer Brite, just fill a cup with warm water, drop in one Retainer Brite tablet, and in about 10 minutes your retainers are clean and odor-free. There is also a portable battery-operated sonic cleaner that you can optionally buy to use with Retainer Brite, which vibrates and helps to loosen debris from your retainer or aligner tray.

Which product is better? It depends on your needs. If your retainer or aligner tray has a lot of white build-up, the SonicBrite powder will do a better job of removing it. This is good option for people who have not properly cleaned their retainers and need to strip away gunky build-up and keep it away. However, if your retainer is already fairly clean, you can use Retainer Brite tablets daily to keep it fresh. They both cost about the same amount of money (around for a supply that lasts several months up to year).  Some people buy both products and use SonicBrite for a deep cleaning and Retainer Brite for everyday use.  Both SonicBrite and Retainer Brite have been endorsed and used by dentists and orthodontists worldwide.

Keeping Your Retainers Safe
"I lost my retainer!" These are dreadful words that you will hopefully never say. It can take 2 to 3 weeks to make a new retainer, and most orthodontists charge anywhere from 0 to 0 or more to make a new set of retainers. This is because most retainers are made by outside labs, so the orthodontist must send the mold of your mouth to the lab to have a new set of custom retainers fabricated. Obviously you want to keep your retainers safe and accounted for at all times. The best way to do this is with a good retainer case. Your orthodontist will probably give you a retainer case when you get your retainers. But if you want more than one case, or if you want a case of a specific color or size, the DentaKit web store carries a wide selection of all types of retainer cases, both hard and soft.

The most common way that retainers are lost is by wrapping them in napkins. You can't see the retainer inside the napkin, you forget about it, and soon the napkin gets tossed in the garbage. Unless you want to spend hours digging through the trash, it's better to put your retainer into a proper case - never use a napkin!

Should you get a hard case or a soft case? That depends on where you keep your retainer. If you are not going to keep your retainer in a place where it will potentially get "smashed," then you can opt for a soft case. But if you tend to put your retainer in your pocket, or a backpack where it may get buried under heavy books, it's best to get a hard case to protect your retainer from breakage. Some retainer cases include a hole or a loop for attaching it to a keychain clip or a lanyard, which keeps them easily within reach. Boys and men may want to get a retainer case in a dark color, but keep in mind that bright colors are easier to find at the bottom of a backpack, briefcase, or purse.

Be sure to label your retainer case so that it will get returned to you if it gets lost. If your retainer case doesn't come with an ID sticker, use an address label or write your name and phone number inside the retainer case in permanent marker.

Guide to Hi-Def TV Specifications

Want to buy a high-def TV but just don't know how to figure out the specifications to choose the best sets? Here's a short guide to some of the most common specs you'll be faced with.

Contrast ratings - a measurement of the darkest blacks to the lightest whites - Panasonic boasts of a 18000:1 contrast rating for their best plasma. In nearly every case, you'll find that plasma TVs have better contrast ratings than any other high-def TV, but you don't necessarily need off-the-charts contrast ratings to have a television you'll enjoy. An 1800:1 makes most people happy, and in a darkened room you often can't tell much difference, though it will be obvious in a showroom.

1080p and 1080i - These numbers refer to the horizontal lines that make up your television image. Traditional televisions - and traditional TV broadcasts - have a 480i; most modern high-def TVs have 1080 or better. The p and i refer to the method the television uses to interpret these lines. An i is an interlaced picture, where every other line refreshes, usually every 1/60 of a second. A p displays all the lines at once, and refreshes either every 1/60 or 1/30 of a second. Look for sets that have a high number and the p for best pictures. Also, for best results look for Blu-ray sets that match this number for your television; some televisions designed for interlaced images cannot handle a Blu-ray set only for p.

Scaling - Refers to the ideal resolution for your television's picture. This is more important for a front-projection DLP TV than any other set, as it determines the maximum and minimum picture for good viewing.

Artifacts - Auras, ghost images, sharp edges, and other distracting things that can detract from your high-def TV's good image processing. A television reviewed as having few or no artifacts is always better than one that has some complaints.

De-judder processing - this refers to the sometimes-jerky motion when frames change too slowly. Because high-def TVs are in essence computing devices, this depends heavily on internal processor speed as well as good programming at the factory. Some experts complain that certain sets do too good a job at de-juddering, and as a result the image is unnaturally smooth in motion. Most consumers are happier with this sort of set, though, so the better your de-judder is the happier you will probably be.

Resolution - Most sets have at least 1920 x 1080 resolution, referencing the vertical x horizontal lines your set will display. High resolutions indicate better pictures, provided everything else works well.

Color-temperature presets -- With values like Cool1 and Neutral, these presets skew your television's color settings toward blues or reds. These settings are not necessarily a make-or-break thing for your high-def TV, but it's nice to be able to skew your picture without fiddling with every color setting. Most high-def TVs have many other color settings you can mess around with, but none of them are critical.

There are several other specs, with more being created every day, but these should help you choose a great high def TV for your needs.

1.Take a silver shadow and apply it from your eyelashes to your eyebrow.

2.Then apply lavender from your eyelashes to just above the crease. Blend it well into the silver so you can't see a distinct line.

3.Then take violet and apply it in a "v" from the middle of your eyelid to the outer corner. Blend very, very well. You want it to look like a gradual change of color, not distinct lines.

4.Line your eyes with charcoal or dark gray eyeliner.

5.Apply mascara.

You can adjust the colors to be icy pink with fuschia, light and dark turquoise, gold and taupe, gray and bright blue, light blue and bright blue, silver and bright blue, taupe and green, etc. The list goes on and on.

Just play around until you like what you're seeing. You make all the choices and decisions when it comes to your makeup.

Alcohol's Effect on Your Teeth and Gums

Alcohol, though enjoyable in a drunkard or even a connoisseur's intoxicated state, is known to not only waste internal organs - but teeth as well. Alcohol is a napalm bomb of sugars, which, when metabolized by the saliva in the mouth, almost turns immediately into plaque. And situation gets worse because almost every drunkard forgets to brush his/her teeth after drinking a bottle full of spirits.

Gin, rummy, wine, vodka, whiskey, brandy and all sorts of alcoholic concoctions (and not to mention beer) have high concentrations of sugar. Sweet wines that have found their way into the mainstream liquor market are also taking center stage in being the primary cause of plaque and tooth decay on binging adolescents and adults. Grapes and apples are two of the primary ingredients used in wine. Both of these fruits, when fermented, convert sugar into alcohol. Some of the fruit will not be fermented, turning some of the extract into residual sugar, which is another danger to teeth, even at a measly 1% to 3% content - meaning not even dry wine is completely free from sugar. Winemakers have also been deliberately adding sugar (sucrose) to wine to boost its alcoholic content.

As mentioned earlier, alcohol gets metabolized into sugar, and then the sugar into plaque faster than you can wake up from a hangover. The basic knowledge that we salivate more during the course of the day than at night gives us the notion that drinking during daylight will likely speed up the deterioration of our teeth, regardless if we brush or not. In addition, the chances of contracting cancer are higher if the person is a day drinker, because the metabolism of the body is highest during the day.

Gum disease is also very rampant on alcohol drinkers. Middle-aged men are prone to periodontal disease, gingivitis and bad breath. The discouraging part is men brush their teeth only for a few minutes without even gargling thoroughly. Overnight liquor stains on teeth can't be scraped off with just a few brush strokes. If a drinking party can't be helped, be sure to bring alcohol-free mouthwash to the event. And to secure your dental health better, bring a toothbrush and toothpaste. It won't hurt to come prepared.

6 Common Teacher Interview Questions and How to Answer Them

When you get a call from a school administrator inviting you to interview for a teaching job, how do you feel? Happy? Elated? Excited? Nervous? Scared stiff?

You don't need to worry about the interview if you're a well-prepared, qualified candidate. Preparing for a teaching interview is a lot like studying for a test. You can review commonly asked questions, think about what you'll say beforehand, and go in to do your best. If you prepare beforehand, the interview questions will seem routine and familiar. You'll have answers on the tip of your tongue, ready-to-go.

Below is a list of six commonly asked teacher interview questions from my eBook, Guide to Getting the Teaching Job of Your Dreams. How would you answer each question?

1. Tell us about yourself.

This will be the first question at almost every interview. Just give a brief background in about three sentences. Tell them what colleges you graduated from, what you're certified to teach, what your teaching & working experiences are, and why you'd love the job.

2. How do you teach to the state standards?

If you interview in the United States, school administrators love to talk about state, local, or national standards! Reassure your interviewer that everything you do ties into standards. Be sure the lesson plans in your portfolio have the state standards typed right on them. When they ask about them, pull out your lesson and show them the close ties between your teaching and the standards.

3. How will you prepare students for standardized assessments?

There are standardized assessments at almost every grade level. Be sure you know the names of the tests. Talk about your experiences preparing students. You'll get bonus points if you know and describe the format of the test because that will prove your familiarity.

4. Describe your discipline philosophy.

You use lots of positive reinforcement. You are firm, but you don't yell. You have appropriate consequences for inappropriate behavior. You have your classroom rules posted clearly on the walls. You set common routines that students follow. You adhere to the school's discipline guidelines. Also, emphasize that you suspect discipline problems will be minimal because your lessons are very interesting and engaging to students. Don't tell the interviewer that you "send kids to the principal's office" whenever there is a problem. You should be able to handle most discipline problems on your own. Only students who have committed very serious behavior problems should be sent to the office.

5. How do you make sure you meet the needs of a student with an IEP?

An IEP is an "individualized education plan." Students with special needs will be given an IEP, or a list of things that you must do when teaching the child. An IEP might include anything from "additional time for testing" to "needs all test questions read aloud" to "needs to use braille textbook." How do you ensure you're meeting the needs of a student with an IEP? First, read the IEP carefully. If you have questions, consult a special education teacher, counselor, or other staff member who can help you. Then, you just make sure you follow the requirements on the IEP word for word. When necessary, you may be asked to attend a meeting in which you can make suggestions for updating the IEP. Your goal, and the goal of the IEP, is to make sure the student has whatever he or she needs to be successful in your class.

6. How do you communicate with parents?

This question will come up at almost every elementary school interview. It's fairly common in the middle school and high school as well. You might have a weekly parent newsletter that you send home each week. For grades 3 and up, you may require students to have an assignment book that has to be signed each night. This way, parents know what assignments are given and when projects are due. When there are discipline problems you call home and talk to parents. It's important to have an open-door policy and invite parents to share their concerns at any time.

Teething Solutions

If your new child has started teething, the good little rhythm that you've set up is about to alter or go completely out the window. Nothing upsets baby more than pain, so when teething, they are going to be subject to several soreness in the gums while the teeth move to the surface and erupt. The initial teeth are sometimes the hardest on baby, because they don't realize what's going on, however the molars can be hard too, as they hurt more serious compared to front ones when coming in. Find some good teething treatments to help your baby truly feel much better when teeth are arriving in.

A number of teething therapies are simple. You can purchase teethers in the store, have them in the freezer, and then whip them out when you need to provide them to your baby. These teething bands or toys are made for chilling because the cold helps relieve the agony of teething. The only problem of these teething remedies is they aren't very good when infant can't retain the item in their hand just yet. Those that start teething at a very young age won't be able to utilize these unless you hold them in the mouth on their behalf.

A number of parents don't want to buy these things for teething cures. They have at-home things they'll use and they can function equally well. Some moms and dads will put a moist wash cloth in the freezer and permit the infant to chew on that. This is often simpler for several children to recognize and provide for the mouth. Just be sure they aren't stuffing the entire point to their mouths. While not typical, a wash cloth can be a choking risk. Just make sure you actually check out infant constantly and use an adult size material as opposed to a baby size, and this therapy should do the job all right.

You will find cookies around which you can use as teething treatments as well. They're made especially for this purpose. Baby can munch on them and they will dissolve as they are place in the mouth. The chewing alleviates the pain of teething and the biscuit melts so that it does not become a choking hazard. As with the cloth as possible teething remedies, you ought to be close at hand to be sure a few does not break off prematurely to bring about choking. If you keep worrying about this, omit this treatment and opt for something different.

Your child can always have medications as teething therapies when the pain seems to be strong. If your baby is crying, cannot sleep, and even has problems taking the bottle because they are in so much pain, call your pediatrician about teething remedies and giving medication. A few babies are in so much pain they cannot eat, which is not a good thing. Your pediatrician can help you with dosage, timing, and even deciding on the best alternative methods of pain relief when you feel medication is not the most effective answer for your baby.

Toxoplasmosis - Ayurvedic Herbal Treatment

Toxoplasmosis is an infection caused by a parasite which is mostly acquired from contact with cats and their feaces, or with raw or undercooked meat. Common symptoms of this condition include fever, bodyache, running nose, swollen lymph nodes and muscular aches. While normal people are not much affected by this infection, immuno-compromised people may be severely affected, with the risk of damage to the eyes, brain or other organs. Medicines like Triphala-Guggulu, Sukshma-Triphala, Gandhak-Rasayan and Ras-Parpati are used to treat the basic infection. Medicines like Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus), Bala (Sida cordifolia), Naagbala (Grewia hirsuta), Samudrashosh (Argyreia speciosa), Tulsi (Ocimum sanctum), Bhrungraj (Eclipta alba), Yashtimadhuk (Glycerrhiza glabra), Bhumiamalaki (Phyllanthus niruri), Abhrak-Bhasma, Trivang-Bhasma, Suvarna-Bhasma, Suvarna-Raj-Vangeshwar-Ras, Maha-Laxmi-Vilas-Ras, Suvarna-Malini-Vasant and Suvarna-Parpati are used to boost the immune status of the affected individual so as to control this infection and prevent long term complications.

Medicines which act on the 'Ras' and 'Rakta' dhatus (tissues) of the body are also useful in treating this condition. IRS Statute of Limitations - Do Taxes Ever Expire?

Many Americans believe that an IRS debt is a debt for life and that the tax collector can hound them to the grave. Thankfully, that is not the case and there are statutory time limits on the ability of the IRS to examine and collect taxes. Taxes do expire at some point and in some cases IRS does not get the money they were legally entitled to collect.

Basically, IRS has 10 years from the date they send out their first bill to collect the tax. The 10 year rule does not apply to the states. Some, like California have no statute of limitations and the state tax collector can indeed hound you forever. The federal tax collector must get the cash before the clock runs out.

For tax assessments made after November 5, 1990, the IRS cannot collect the tax after 10 years from the date of the original assessment absent special circumstances. Special circumstances that may extend the statute are: a bankruptcy not completed or wherein the tax is not discharged; filing an Offer-in-Compromise; or signing a Form 900 Waiver allowing the United States additional time to collect the tax. Also, it is possible for the government to sue to reduce the tax claim to judgment before the 10 years expires.

If you never file a tax return, there is no statute of limitations on IRS requiring you to file, but as a matter of policy, IRS generally only requires non-filers to file the last 6-7 years. If IRS files for you by doing a Substitute-for-Return (SFR), they have 10 years from the date they file the SFR to collect from you. If a Federal Tax Lien is on file against you, it expires and becomes void if the underlying statute expires.

You can find out when the statute expires on your tax bill by requesting a Record of Accounts (ROA) from IRS for each tax year you owe. If you can't afford to pay the tax, your account might be eligible to be put in a "temporary hardship" status. It may be possible to "ride out" the statute in hardship if you qualify. If you have committed fraud or tax evasion, there is no statute for audit. There is also a 6 year rule for audit in cases of "substantial omission" of 25% or more in income. But for most folks, the three year statute will apply on audits.
